Orientaciones metodológicas y programáticas de un curso de español para fines específicos
Abstract
This contribution proposes useful methodological orientations to program a course of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Far from any dogmatic imposition on didactic considerations for the teaching and learning of foreign languages, this article is rather a qualitative analysis of the most appropriate approaches to teach and to learn a language for professional or academic purposes. As a first step, we will make some terminological clarifications around the notions of General Language, Specialty Language and Language on Specific Purposes, to finally describe as clearly as possible the organization of didactic processes in Spanish on Specific Purposes while explaining activities that are appropriate for this type of program. Finally, in order to adjust the theory to practice and to illustrate the functioning of the proposed approaches, we will analyze some examples of activities for the class.
