« La pérdida de la felicidad en dos novelas argentinas contemporáneas »
Abstract
This article analizes the topic of the loss of love and happiness in two novels : El pasado (Pauls) and La intemperie (Massuh) by means of antagonic operators such as (sudden) event/duration, reality/fiction and masculine/feminine. In Pauls’s text the passion of a lover is described as an forever event that dissolves time; this approach contrasts with Massuh’s perspective; for her, love and breaking off appear as processes, and are not completely separate from social life. Both novels évocate the crises of subjectivity with a new look on the contemporary imagination of affectivity. Key words : loss of happiness, love and passion, crisis, Pauls, MassuhDownloads
