La simulación de casos, una actividad idónea en las clases de español para uso profesional

Abstract

In this work, we will try do demonstrate the reasons why in the framework of language learning, and particularly the languages for a professional use, simulations are an excellent kind of activity to deal whith every kind of tasks in the field of specialized communication. To achieve this goal, we will examine first of all the theoretical lines in the background of the unanimous positive opinions about the case simulations sistematic use in the context of the teaching of Spanish for its professional use. Next, we will carry out a detailed analysis of the elements taking part in simulations according to the Instituto Cervantes Guía para el diseño de currículos especializados (Guide for the implementation of specialized curricula), in order to confirm that this kind of activity has the value and the relevance that has been accretited whith. We will conclude, whith an specific example whith the demonstration that simulations offer the students the opportunity of acquiring a real communicative competence in their professional field.
